Job description

Regardless of job titles or duties, the DPR Entertainment Team works together to deliver world-class entertainment. The Entertainment Coordinator provides assistance and support to the Production Manager and Stage Manager in coordinating talent, tech, VIPs and venue procedures. Create and maintain documentation of schedules, routes, and production books. Daily operations of rehearsals/shows and events, interaction with cast/crew/frontline personnel and guests.

· Performs the opening and/or closing tasks of the site or area, including cast and crew login and logout, monitoring startup/shutdown procedures. Monitor all rehearsals, performances and backstage areas for show quality, safety and SOP compliance.

· Coordinates production plans and directs activities of performers and stage staff during rehearsals and performances.

Support Supervisor with event documentation, including nightly FYIs and status report

· Monitors stage/backstage/green room performances for show quality, safety and SOP compliance.

· Communication of relevant information inter/intra departmental

Act as the first point of contact to handle guest situations in a positive and professional manner.

· Ability to keep confidential information.

· Implement and maintain policies, procedures and processes for the relevant function/department and ensure that existing ones are reviewed and updated as part of the ‘continuous process improvement’.

· Maintain relevant electronic systems to bring efficiency and effectiveness to existing processes.

  • Communicate in a professional and courteous manner with internal and external customers of DPR.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for nightlife venues and performers at shows and events, while relaying information to resolve any issues.
  • Monitor event logistics to ensure all entertainment elements are in compliance with the rules and regulations set forth by Motiongate Entertainment dept.
  • Any other duties reasonably requested by the management team.




High School Diploma – Event/theater/theme park experience preferred.


· Bachelor of Theater degree



1 – 2 years experience in theme parks and/or professional theater


Minimum 3 – 5 years experience in theme parks and/or a professional theatre



· Proficient in Excel and Word.

· Advanced English skills – both written and spoken.

· Ability to quickly learn new concepts, solve problems and implement solutions.


Ability to navigate well on both PC and Mac computers

· Must be able to adapt to an ever-changing work environment.
