Freight Sales Associates – B2B | Al Futtaim Logistics | Dubai

Role overview

We are currently looking for x2 Sales Executive – Freight for our logistics operations in the UAE. In this role, you will support the commercial growth of the Freight Forwarding business by bringing new customers on board and additional business from existing customers, while managing multiple internal and external relationships.

What are you going to do?

  • Identify and develop a new customer base
  • Develop a strong Al Futtaim Logistics presence among Multinational Enterprises (MNCs) in the UAE
  • Liaising with other sales channels, including network partners, regarding customers with global potential
  • Evaluate sales successes and failures to optimize efforts and identify issues
  • Business development through value-added sales
  • Ensuring 100% customer retention
  • Performance reporting

Skills

What do you equip for the role?

  • In possession of a Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 3 years experience in sales of forwarding companies
  • Has the ability to efficiently handle customer accounts and coordinates with agencies around the world
  • Overall professional and positive attitude is a must
  • A valid UAE driver’s license is required for this position
  • Skills Required to Be Successful
  • Experience in forwarding sales, either B2B or Business Development;
  • Must have an existing customer base in the UAE market i.e. SMBs, MNCs and Government Agencies
  • Has commercial knowledge of the freight industry, products and services and negotiation skills
  • A valid UAE driver’s license is a must!
